Sky Metals CEO Oliver Davies joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update regarding drilling activities at the Narriah Project, as well as other significant developments for the company. 

Sky Metals has completed six diamond drill holes at the Narriah Project, with a total depth of 498.05 meters. These drill holes were aimed at exploring for tin and tungsten beneath several historic mine workings in the area. Davies revealed that all six holes in the maiden program intercepted strong tin and tungsten mineralization. 

These results confirm the potential for the Erigolia Granite, which stretches over 16 kilometers, to host economically viable tin and tungsten mineralization. The company plans to use these initial results to target new areas for large-scale tin mineralization that have not been explored previously due to a thin layer of sand covering most of the underlying rocks in the project area. Additionally, Sky Metals is planning geophysical surveys to penetrate the sand cover and accurately delineate geological features for targeting. 

Davies also shared that the company has released an updated JORC-2012 Mineral Resource Estimate, on Tallenbung –which demonstrates a 53% increase in total tonnes compared to the maiden MRE, along with a significant increase in the Exploration Target. The Indicated and Inferred Resources in the MRE total 15.6 million tonnes at 0.15% tin, representing 23.2 kilotons of contained tin at a 0.08% tin cut-off grade. 

Looking ahead to 2024, Sky Metals plans to focus on developing the Taliban project, leveraging updated mineral resource estimates and successful ore sorting results. The company aims to not only achieve economic efficiency but also prioritize environmental sustainability, aiming to be a leader in producing ethically sourced and reliable tin for the global market.
